So, why me?
Never heard of me? It may be because most of my time has been spent on US military installations, at home – overseas – in combat, singing and speaking to our troops and their families. My music has been heard all over the world since 1987.

Danny Byram: Performer
As a US Air Force chaplain’s son, I grew up to the sounds of jets flying overhead, on installations in the US and Europe. Since my dad was a chaplain, I also grew up as a “preacher’s kid” in every conceivable style of Protestant worship.
As a live performer, I have appeared on over 100 US installations, at all 4 service academies, on naval vessels at sea, in chapels, on training fields and in combat forward operating bases. I have given thousands of performances on 5 continents, for audiences as small as 7 and as large as 75,000. I have shared the stage and worked with some of the legendary greats in Christian music, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael Card, Michael James, Rich Mullins, Bruce Carroll, Petra, as well as some of Rock and Country music’s legends: George Jones, Jerry Reed, Lynn Anderson, even The Doobie Brothers.
Danny Byram: Producer & Director
From 1995-1997, I headed the team of planners and producers for the largest Christian events in the nation, Promise Keepers. My team was in charge of the flow of the event from downbeat to dismissal. We chose every speaker, working alongside each to craft their messages. We worked closely with Maranatha! Music to make sure every song engaged attendees. I personally worked closely with each master of ceremonies and the sound/stage/lighting/video teams to ensure proper flow, consistency of message and professionalism.
After the largest gathering of Christian men on the National Mall in October of 1997 (“Stand In The Gap”), I also produced FamilyLife Arena Events (FamilyLife of Little Rock, AR, Dennis Rainey). During these 36 events (1999-2004), we partnered with Integrity Music for all musical worship during the events and supporting recording projects. These were the largest marriage conferences in modern history.

My songs have been the primary communication tool in my ministry since its inception in 1987. I have written, co-written, and arranged songs for my eleven solo projects. I have composed commercial jingles, including the theme song for the USFL San Antonio Gunslinger football team. Two of my country songs hit the Billboard Top 100. I have taught songwriting at University of Texas, Bryan College, Montreat College and at conferences, schools, and US military installations around the world.
My workshop: “Wallpaper Worship Removal: The Tips and Tools For Engaging Participation” has been taught around the world since 1999. I have also developed a series on Biblical characters, “L.I.F.E. Lessons From Joseph” (also Jonah, Daniel, Nehemiah). These series are popular for church and conference retreats.
